Omni yeah.....our system has given the illegals, the cahones to believe they can fight their way to get what they want. I've never understood our current president's stance other than to get more Latino support. It's all about winning. Politics has been the root of all evil, teaching politicians that they can cheat, and win. If you're a good enough cheater you get what you want.
They have no higher order than themselves (ego) to own up to. Just like a new prisoner in prison, a new president finds that if he portrays himself as a religious believer (of some sort) he can get the vote of the bible belt too. It's a game I've never been able to understand the WHY of it all. In the end, what is so valuable that they would do such things to become president? A legacy?
What is it worth, being at the cost of others. If it's well known that they've cheated and lied to get there, then what good is a legacy like that? They actually believe that what they're doing is right? They actually believe that the rest of us are too stupid to know the difference. They've been schooled to believe they are superior and gifted enough to swindle without conscience.
The illegals are doing what they should be doing. Testing our ability to keep a border. taking advantage of our good natured hospitality and our better hospitals and schools. Why not? Nobody's stopping them! Our government on the other hand turns a blind eye to the border instead of management, they think of Latino voters. Politically correct is just that, correct for politics. Our politicians choose to be nice guys. You know what that gets us. Politicians must be addicted to the drugs they're letting into our country, or taking a chunk of the action. You'd think they'd figure something out sooner or later.
In-attention to our borders and the invading illegals and their monetary strain on our tax base isn't enough for politicians or government to act. It will take more than that to get any action. There's always something more important to take care of in their eyes. Until there is an active, blatant, disaster of some sort, they won't do a thing to tighten up our borders, or even deny entry or expel illegals. The time is probably getting near too.

Suz...it's two things as best I can see...being able to brag the at "I was the President of the USA" and the money....money whilst in the job, the network of paying appearances as desired afterwards, and the lifetime annual pension.
Politicians are the same the world over. You have your border jumpers...we have our boat people/refugees. As far as I am concerned both nations are suffering a PASSIVE INVASION !!!!! I have said for years that this is going to happen in Australia...and I believe it is happening now. I defy anybody to prove me wrong.
Bring on the revolution.

This is such a sore subject for me, and, others as well.
Squishy heart uber-libs think "oooo but they are soooo helpfull, they are indespensible, they contribute!"
Ever see a border town? How about the "corridor" going into Tucson? How about living in the same spot for 50 years only to be run out of the parks and local public places we once went to for relaxation after they "claim" it as "their turf"? Been to an emergency room lately?
I don't like all this fast-track soft-sell crap. I have no use for illegal, non-english speaking unskilled laborers undermining what others have paid dearly for. Or, the crime, trash and pestolance the bring.
It all comes down to tollerance. Keep turning the other cheek people, "they" are counting on it. Dont' rock the boat, don't push the issue, just sit back, relax, let the Govt handle everything....like, placing signs in our desert near the boarder on US soil saying not to go there due to human trafficking dangers and armed illegals.
WTF?!?!?!?!?
Mexico was never a land of oppurtuintity. It's a shthole, has been forever, run by murdering theives, always has been always will be. Been there enough to know. I feel for the innocent's down there- there truly are some wonderful soles, but, that country's problems are not mine. At least not till now. Now- they've flat killed and drained our infrastrcture.
If there's so many million people suckling from the State teat, and, NOT paying taxes, guess what happens?
