Figures, a Blackhawk SERPA. There have been quite a number of reported cases of shooting one self with this holster by everyone from idiots all the way to senior LE firearm instructors to "High speed" types.

While the idea of it is great, its been known to cause that one in a thousand error on the users part that allows their finger to slip into the trigger guard instead of the frame where it "should" land. Many times its a combination of stress and/or dirt stuck in the latching mechanism, while in some cases its simply the user being a idiot as well.

It has been "banned" in many if not most firearm instruction centers, especially the "action shooting" type, and by many different LE Agencies and other groups due to the persistent issues of the holster.

So I don't understand why people keep using them.

Ok Vinnie there's another way to get rid of em! Interesting how they are so casual with guns over there anyway. Just shootin off a few rounds at the pub, enjoyin my evening with the kids. And we wonder why they can't seem to fathom the concept of policing themselves.

I wonder if we can get an international aid program going -to send more 1911's to moslem kids.....maybe call it faster and furiouser 2!I'm sure our ghetto organiser pres. would buy into it!
