I put a new scope on my .270 Win Tikka T3 Lite and took it to the range today. It was pretty crowded for a Friday morning but no one was on the 200/250-yard range so I set-up there. I've run into problems before trying to sight-in at triple-digit ranges before but thought I'd give it a go.

I set-up a target at 200-yards. I pulled the bolt out, lined the barrel up with the target on stable bags, and dialed the crosshairs to match. My first shot was about 4 inches high. I changed the scope's setting for a zero at 250 yards, moved the target, and sent 2 more down range. Quickest and easiest sight-in job I've done.

Boy I love my Tikka and Hornady's 130gr GMX Bullet!
