well we didnt get the wind we got rain rain and more rain on Saturday evening we got 12 nice fat mallards and all had a great time.

the plurry thing was in a pack I swapped with my mate . now he just has to remember where he put it

Told ya it'd be in the last place ya look.

this time shifting I missplaced a horn off my best chammy head and my plurry boresighter/colimetre!! ! the good wife found the horn in the car for me which made me a little happier. as for the bore sighter well that plurry thing nearly had me in tears of frustration trying to find it.
well today being christmas I needed another stool to sit my chubby butt on so went up to the room and found the stool. it was upside down in the corner with a bag of goodies in it including... ... the cleaning gear and wooohooo the missing boresighter.

Elvis...you are a bloody scream mate...but only because it reminds me so much of all the moves we did when I was in the Army.

I look forward to the day when we can all sit down together, bust a few caps and have a beer or two whilst telling each other "lies".

well today I was watching my 12yr old son tootooing with his science set he got for xmas 2 years ago . its sort of a modern day macarno set(what do macarno and boobs have in common??? they are both made for kids but its the dads who end up playing with them) and anyway one of the electrical circuits has a simple motor driven fan/propeller on it and after watching him set it up I thought to myself"thats not too hard" so I dug out the decoy/wing spinner and grabbed the side cutting pliers and took out the remote control circuit board and spliced then taped the wires back together leaving the on/off switch in the circuit and tentatively hooked up the 6volt battery and woooohooo it works. number 5 is alive!!!!
so I now have a wing spinner that is wind driven but can be switched to battery power when needed!!!! those pesky ducks will probably still laugh at me but we will give them some pellets to dodge.
