Last fall I had a problem with an "R3" recoil pad on my Rem 700. The darn thing started melting! I found out that it was a known problem, a batch of bad material slipped through but it took some time before the problem presented itself. So I contacted Limbsaver (they made the pads for Remington) and Remington to see what to do. Both responded but Remington never sent me the info on where to return it. The issue was put on hold by the holidays, etc until last week. I returned the pad to Limbsaver last Friday and received the new one today, along with a catalog. Good job by Limbsaver (Sims Vibration Laboratory)!

That is great news Punkin. Its refreshing to hear a Company in this say and age who is prepared to stand behind their products and accept the good with the bad.
