|
My computer crashed, lost all my info. Downloaded the 2.0 ver and it doesn't seem to have the firearm recording dat base where you can keep inventory of all your guns. Was it done away with in the new ver or am I missing files? If this ver doesn't have it where can I get the older ver (I think it was 1.8)?
Thanks

Make sure you have all the latest updates installed plus the latest NetFrame Work installation.

I downloaded ver 2.0 from here, so it should be up to date. My Netframe is up to date.

In 1.8a the firearms database was its own seperate entity.
In v2.0 is firearm data is the core of the database structure. Firearms are created with a specific caliber, loads are parented under that firearm, target info is parented under the load info.
It is a tremendous improvement for organization purposes. If you have questions on this consult the help file for an overview then post here any additional questions you have.

I downloaded v2.0 into a folder on drive C:, there were 18 seperate files downloaded. One file is POINTBLANK, when I click on it, it loads the start up and opens to PB Balistics 2.0.8 with load Database, Ballistics, Settings, Print, Misc, Help on top and Database below it. There is no New Firearm button to click on. This is the only window that opens. Am I doing something wrong?? Went through the Help menu to no avail.

Do you see the Add Firearm button as follows? This is what a clean version of PointBlank should look like the first time it is run:

You may have to maximize the window to see the new firearm button.
