That is so simple its ridiculous. As Glockster says...you couldn't build one for the price.

Looking at it, I reckon it would also be good security for the base of the ladder...can't slip or slide out and I reckon it would also offer a bit of security if the tree stand wanted to slide and topple sideways. All in all, a great idea.

I could build three pair for that price. (I could't make much of a profit at $10/pair but it would pay for materials.
