New proposed law for Montana.

New Gun Laws

Seems like folks in Montana use common sense compared to the monkey's in Washington D.C.

I agree Gil, if they could just use common sense up at the state and federal level, but todays world is different from generations ago.

This is excellent. I am glad to hear of common-sense laws from free states. I really have to take a hard look at moving from this insane state - Massachusetts. Here they are working toward limiting all hunting to bow and arrow, muzzeloaders and shotguns. (Once the dingbats on Capitol Hill start to realize the effectiveness of muzzleloaders, I'm sure these will go too.) It is a constant battle to keep our right to even possess rifles and handguns, let alone carry or use them.

Yes it sounds good on paper, but I can bet you that if a few more states start getting on the bandwagon you better believe the feds, batf, interstate commerce will try to quash it. And I can just see this going all the way to the supreme court. As of recently Idaho jumped on it and said as long as guns, gun parts are made here, stays in Idaho, and is stamped made in Idaho they are exempt from fed regulations.

Idaho Joins Montana
