Looks like fun. I forget that not every one can walk out their back door and rip off a few rounds. It's been way to hot and humid to even think about doing any serious shooting up here in the "frozen north". I was sweating drinking a beer in the shade of the porch today.

It's a Baikal, Russian Remington 20ga. (Spartan SP100 SC4)
29.5" ported barrel, tru-lock extended choke, home-brew Graco-brako adjustable buttplate with a Pachmayr trap pad (large pigeon face).
I almost counterbored the the stock and added a Graco recoiler, or something similar, but I got it to 8.5#'s as is by leaving the pad whole. The front bead is really ugly. I don't use the sights after I get my set on the house but I might install a Marbles large white or brass bead on the front just for looks.
I also found, on-line, an enamel Russian military hat pin, 1" Red Star w/ hammer and sickle. I knocked the pin part off so it had a flat surface. I then traced and cut out a piece of double-stick automotive trim tape, that grey stuff, stuck the Star on the pistol grip cap and it looks pretty cool.
It's a commie-block clay-busin' machine. Have at least 5 or 6 cases thought it since I got it recently to replace the 12ga version of this that was actually lighter and just a cheek/shoulder abuser. I sold that thing quick- it was too much gun. Not one miss-fire. It's been solid so far. A tad rough in spots, but, solid!
The action brakes by the two-finger trigger outside and behind the trigger gaurd. And- there's a finger opperated selector on the bottom of the action block that overides the ejector and lift's the hull only.
Whopping $198.00 retail. It's the brunt of a lot of good natured ribbing from me and my crew but it's a crusher when I'm on. Get's a lot of looks when the Browning and Perrazi crowd walk by. They are out there but you just don't see that many of these. Some are curious and smile when they see it. Others grimmace and keep walking.

I really like my home range. It's a pretty special spot. Only two traps too. Very home-spun with a clubhouse, fire place the whole thing is old as dirt with a ton of history, very un-L.A. like. Lot's of old timers too.
I really enjoy trap, it's become a very Americanized shooting sport, so much so they call the big one The Grand American. If you've never read up on Trap, you should, yer missing out on some rich and diverse American shooting sports history.
Pull! (howd ya like to be this guy all day!)

Stovey, Is this the old fields or new ones ???
If it's the old it's in Vandalia Ohio and yes that's an airport............but that's not the main runway. The big boys land in line with the center fields.
Have been there twice.........It's a trip worth just seeing vendors row !!!
The last time I was there a Stealth fighter dropped in unexpectedly in stealth mode with a touch and go. His departure........not nearly as quiet !!!
