Stovepipe, you may want to use them as foulers after you clean your barrel. I started noticing a slight shift in POI between the first one out of a clean barrel and the ones that followed. You can also use them to start learning to dope the wind and not feel bad that you consuming your handloads. Plus you can reuse the brass.

Nope- aint sticking a short mag in a long action. Diff case dimesions all together.
Doping wind aint a big deal (sorta ), mirage is my demon as we shoot over hardpan in very sunny conditions at my range. Huge mirage issues out here.

Would have been intereting to try it though....in Chambered's gun! Just kidding.
My club prez has a 300 WSM, he called last night and will take them off my hands. That makes me feel better as that's a lot of good ammo just sitting I can't use.
