Took a day off and got back out to the range today. It was beautiful. The Spring rains finally brought out the wild flowers. Blue Bonnets and Indian Paint Brushes covered the fields on the 45-min drive the range. The Paint Brushes blanketed the range. What a beautiful day to relax and shoot!

Slim...you are one lucky guy to experience that display....they look beautiful.

I'm assuming the red ones are the Indian Paint Brushes...they remind me of some aussie wildflowers you see down South after the rains.

Thanks mate...cheered up an otherwise very ordinary day.

Cheers, Vince

Very nice pictures. Looks like a fine range you have there. How far can you shoot safely on the range? It does not appear to be too crowded at your range. All the best...
Gil

The picture is of the field next to the pistol range at the Parker County Sportsman Club outside of Poolville TX. That range only goes to 15 yards. There are several other ranges there going out to 250 yards which is my favorite. I drive a little farther to TacPro when I need to shoot beyond 250 as they have an nice 1000 yards range.
