This is how you build a tree stand ...
Now to lift it with the ATV.

Did the tree get squashed? I don't see a tree! Would look better in a tree...don't ya usually build it in a tree? Just a suggestion....put it in a tree.
I'm just playin with ya...calm down.
It looks like a wonderful place to spend the day actually. Rain or sun, beer stash, propane heater, coleman stove puttin the coffee on and havin breakfast or lunch. I think I would kick out the bottom panel so you can see down under your feet, like the Helo choppers do. Don't remove the panel just hinge it or prop it out a bit. Also you might have a cornered animal in there if you have only one entrance, but if you pop out the bottom panel a bit you could be rid of them fast. Is that for your Dad? So how ya going to get that into a tree anyway? It better be a stout one to hoist that up.

Its going to go on 4x4 posts we may or maynot cut them down, they are at 12 feet now, so we are going to lift it with the ATV as mentioned.

Tree "houses" or "forts" are for little kids to play in.

Around here we call them box blinds (elevated in this case)...
Don't see much use for a "tree" with that setup...

Actually Dimitri has planted the tree under it and is waiting for it to grow thus lifting the "tree stand" to the proper heighth....

Where are the windows, the PUR isolation, the heating, the airco, the fridge? Or even the door?
I wonder why they just won't do it right from the start
Or do you invite the right company to keep everything cold or warm?

Heavy enough I won't be trying to move it on my own.

One suggestion for you after having hunted from an elevated blind many times over the years. Once you get it hoisted in place insulate the floor(spray foam works well) and add a second layer of plywood to the bottom of the blind. Throw down some indoor/outdoor carpet (but don't glue/staple/nail it in place) and you should have a fairly "quiet" floor. Nothing like dropping something on a hollow plywood floor to ruin a hunt.

Hunterjoe, that's a pretty good idea. Given the temps where D lives I think I'd insulate the whole thing!
