All I got is a lowly am/fm radio on my bench and let me tell you it's lookin' pretty darn sorry next to that reel to reel!

yup - need to upgrade - I think I have an 8-track player that would mount nicely underneath a shelf if anybody needs it - and either some Gordon Lightfoot or Kris Kristofferson 8-tracks to go with it - so you could move the reel to reel - less space. You would need to give me about a year to find it as it is with my Gentle Ben lunchbox and I am not sure where I have it stored either.

Joe, just set a trash can under the trimmer. That's what I do with mine anyway. Then I deburr, etc over the can too.

Easy enough to fix Joe...a piece of aluminium that attaches to the bench via the trimmer mounting screws...folds out to form a platform under the trimmer. Put a small "lip" on the outer edge so ya don't hurt yaself if'n ya bump into it, and it will also catch any brass ya drop...as well as the shavings.

By the way Hunterjoe...NICE work bench...Do you ever use it? I wonder if the drawers are as neat inside as the top of the bench...........I do envy those that have room for large benches...

Thanks...
Obviously, other than the top, I didn't "build" it, rather I assembled it. The top is 6'6" long, so I have plenty of room. I wanna start loading shotshells at some point, so I wanted to leave room for all that "stuff" too.

The bench is in the garage, and that's about the ONLY organized area out there. I try to keep the drawers organized as much as possible. I don't use it as much as most here prolly do theirs. I'm just starting to load for the AR, and I have dies for the 9x19, .40S&W and .45 ACP on order.

Oh yeah...

The "beer fridge" lives in the garage too...

I just arrived back in the UK from a couple of weeks in Albuquerque & spent more than a few hours loading 2,900 rounds of .45acp with an RCBS Junior - shot a "few" of them too.

Here's 5 hours work; about 650 rounds with 200gr SWC's over 4.7gr Red Dot.
Accurate for anyone but me (that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it.....).

I can see it now there is going to be a rush on drawer thingy's at Wally World.

Picked up a couple of sliding drawers at Walmat last night for $6 a piece. Maybe this weekend I'll get to use them to reorg my workbench. Still don't think it will look as tidy as Bushmaster's or hunterjoe's.

English Mike, where do they let you shoot them over there? Do you have to use a suppressor?

Well I managed to get most of my bullets organized in these bottom two cabinets. I didn't however use them for the bulk(500+ count) boxes of bullets. I figured they would use up too much room. I use this area of the bench to load powder and bullets using my old RCBS Rockchucker single stage press.

I bought some of these cheap clear plastic shoe boxes at one of the dollar stores to use as covers for my loading blocks to keep the dust off and out of the prepped cases. Just toss the lid aside and use the box unside down. I also use the plastic snack sized zip lock bags for loads that are going to the range to be tried.

This is the end of the bench that I use for working on guns.

This is where I prime and prep cases. I use a cheap Lee press just for priming cases.

I still have the Lee press you have pictured. Until I purchased the Lee Classic Cast single stage press I used mine to prime my cases too. I see you use the Lee Auto Prime II also...

Wow lots of room. I can't wait to get my reloading room finished now. To many irons in the fire this weekend to get anything done. Sad

Ok you want messy? This is my reloading-tear your gun apart bench. It has two heavy duty drawers under the top, that hold everything I need. Not very big but I can still get things done. I have a dinky two bedroom house and this is the smaller bedroom. For some reason it has the larger closet too. Poor Jon has to keep his clothes in this closet, after he pushes the bench aside he can crawl in. I just got through building this rifle, my first attempt at building one. It's a Mauser 98 action with a .270 barrel on a Remington stock. I put a Bold trigger on it today and bedded the action. Don't know how well it shoots yet. I fired 5 rounds through it yesterday and it's been pouring rain so I have to wait it out.
