Poll: Choose the Posting Rank name types you like the most

I'd go for no.2 as several others use No.1. It doesn't hurt to be different. Smile

I like #2 or#3 and would suggest using pheasant instead of mouse. No one wants to be referred to as a mouse (or a fawn). Thanks for taking our input on this question. All the best...

Do we really need ranks? Confused

If so then why not just list the numbers of posts like the old board? Sometimes I feel a ranking system just encourages useless posts. Besides... I would have to stop when I became a coyote. Smile

I'll go along with no.3 although I doubt squirrel and mouse will do much for the more macho types. Then again it is incentive to post a bit to get beyond that level. Whatever you finally decide is okay with me. Best wishes.

A couple people got accidently logged out during the upgrade (ie: the cookie name changed slightly so the site thinks they arent online).

Working through a couple login issues with people currently. Seems a couple passwords got corrupted too somehow. So much for a painless system upgrade.

Cal just needs to log back in.

It took 2 days for my password to sort itself out.

All 4 choices are in use at various sites, ergo I don't care what you use just stop upgrading! Smile

LOL I fully agree. I'm about 60% done with fixing the color theme. Finally got my home machine up and working so I've been putting in alot of time to getting everything functional. Its doubtful there will be any major upgrades for a long time.

Why bother if you are displayin' the number of posts. The ranks just show the same thing. Use the bandwidth some other way.

Does a caliber really reflect a persons rank? I don't even like the BIG calibers (cause I'm a wimp and they kick to much)... but I love the small ones. I guess my choice would not be #2.
If I had to choose it would be #3

Bandwith is irrelevant for a rank name even on dialup. Just a emoticon like Very Happy

is several hundredfold bigger in size than a text string. The webboard supports the ability and some people really like it.
