Hi all
I only recently found this great site, having finally joined the modern computer generation at ripe age of 79.
I might be a bit slow at the typing as I'm still getting use to having to use a keyboard and the letters don't seem to be in any order that I'm familiar with , but I get there in the end.
I've been pulling the trigger on some sort of firearm since 1941, and hope to continue to do so for a few more years.
I look forward to adding some advice and insight when and where ever I can. Just don't complain if I'm a few days behind everyone else as it takes me that long to type a post.
All the best
TG

Welcome TankGunner! Don't worry, no one is going to grade you on your typing skills. We are all just happy to have you aboard. Settle in and let us know what your interests are.

Based on his name I'd say he started off with German and/or Italian tanks.

Thanks for the warm welcome lads
As for my interests, anything to do with hunting, shooting, and the study of wildlife keeps me occuppied these days
For the last 50 years my reasons for pulling the trigger has been varmint hunting, deer stalking, experimenting with various loads for the 4 different calibres I own and just having fun punching holes in paper and other targets.
As Dimitri has guest I spent a few years in the turret of a either a Comet or Centurian tank, punching holes in various bit of amour plate or bricks and motor depending on what provided the target at the time.
It was better than having to walk every where. I always thougt the old adage why walk when you can ride in style worked best.
