Day 16:

I was able to sneak out early. I had an hour and a half left of the season, but no dice. My son got a shot at a nice doe but looks like nerves got the best of him. Well we have seen quite a few deer the last week, at least enough to keep us looking forward to next year. To bad it's over but the ice is thick enough to get down to ice fishing. Cool

With them temps you should just be able to walk up to a frozen buck, put a stick up his rump and carry him home like a deer-sicle.

You guys are nutz and a toally different breed....man that's cold. Brrr!

Stoves cabin fever usually sets in after just a couple days of not being able to go hunting or fishing so ya learn to put up with the weather or go crazy.

Hmmmm maybe that's what happened, cabin fever took it's toll so now I really don't pay so much attention to the weather. Or is it the fact that if I hang around the house to much my wife starts getting bright ideas of things she thinks I need to do.

Joe I've go 2 12 foot john boats you could try but it's a lot warmer in the fishouse.

Just got back from a few days of deer hunting in Mississippi Wiersy. I almost froze to death. Yesterday afternoon the wind was blowing from the north and it got down to 49 degrees F. I wasn't prepared for that, what in my BDU's and such.

Very Happy
