This email I recieved today got my blood boiling. This may have been covered already but figured it would not hurt to show it again.
Our country is going to hell in a hand basket in a hurry.
Welcome to the United Sates of the Socialist Republic! BAH -_-

Now 'all Guns' must be listed on your next (2010) tax return!
As if we didn’t have enough to get upset about!
If you have a gun, I hope it isn't registered!

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.
| This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Omama staff. BUT . . this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective ! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act o f 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama ? ...... you must be kidding !
|
The full text of the IRS amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage,U.S. Senate You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill number, SB-2099.
| You know who to call; I strongly suggest you do. Please send a copy of this e-mail to every gun owner you know.|

<Text of H.R.45 as Introduced in House: Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 - U.S.... OpenCongress |

Obama's Congress is now starting on the firearms confiscation bill. If it passes, gun owners will become criminals if you don't fully comply.

It has begun . . . Whatever Obama's secret Master Plan is....this is just the 'tip of the iceburg!'

Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Ac t of 2009.|

Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar as a 'minor' IRS revision, and, as usuual, the 'political' lawmakers did not read this bill befre signing and approvi ng it !

To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

-It is registered -You are fingerprinted -You supply a current Driver's License -You supply your Social Security # -You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing -Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. -There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. -They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many opt ions to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family pas s this along.|
This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society20to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not..

Whether you support the Right to Bear Arms or are for gun control. We all should have the right to choose.

I noticed that the bill had NO cosponsors. It has been sent to two committees. Write your congressmen!

Shoot...all my guns are already registered, documented, finger printed etc. Gota jump through some hoops here to have same.

I've already paid state sales tax on them so... not sure how a federal tax would apply to previously owned guns.

As I understand it regulation or refusal of firearm ownership or forced registration/licensing with the contingency of refusal (for an otherwise qualified owner) is prohibited by the 2A.

It's obvious the current admin. has nothing better to do than swell thier ranks, push thier agendas of ignorant hate and ban fun in general. This admin. is the most disingenous anti-American thing to come down the pike in generations and if my old man was still alive to see Barry-O got the nod for the big chair I would certainly hear his words, again...."this aint what me 'n grampa went overseas to fight for..."

Instead of jobs and infrastructure projects, like what was promised, the Admin. has totally gone off the rails in a drunk with power onslaught of pork and ear marks with our money thinking the well will never run dry. Every day the list grows with more of these idiotic bills desgined to make criminals of citzens while the real crooks are running around with impunity.

American's and, not just Citizens, as well as The American Way of Life are in real peril. More so than ever in Our history. The very fabric and fiber of our once great Nation is in serious jeapordy. Barry-O and his buddies could not give two shites about what happens to Us or the Constitution. They now have the reigns and will do everything in their power to keep them from cooler, clearer thinking heads.

Ummmm... Snopes says that there IS such a bill... However, it is a licensing and registration bill, there is nothing in there about listing firearms on a tax form, etc.

I've said it before...and I continue to say it...DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS !!!

No one takes any notice or the little nicks, until they realise that they are now bleeding to death.

Don't know how many times I gotta say it...the ANTIs are all part of one big worldwide group, and they share info...if it works in one place they will try to implement it in another. They have policitians everywhere in their pockets.

As Gelan said...learning from the Australian Govt.

Cheers, Vince

The importance of these proposed legislations and resolutions is that it gives insight into the thinking of some of those in power. In fact, at this time, the submitted bills/resolutions won't make it out of committee. It should serve to make us more aware of the leftist agenda. But, historically, it is not without precedent.

There were many prominent Americans that supported Hitler prior to the outbreak of WWII. Proposals have been circulated in Congress to restrict horsepower, register baseball bats and, most evil of all, to impose an income tax and an inheritance tax. At one point it was proposed to register fully automatic firearms and, later, to restrict their volume to that was in existence at the time of the legislation. Imagine how perverted and insane! Still, some of this crap actually got written into legislation and we now deal with it daily.

One of the characteristics of leftists is their propensity to pass new laws, many of which are superfluous in their merit, but, impose great inconvenience on citizens. How I wish for a candidate to come forth that would sunset all existing legislation and force Congress to write meaningful laws.

A LOT of these bills are proposed to make the person proposing them look good to their district and they know they won't be passed.
With that said depending on how the case infront of the Surpreme Court goes will determine a lot of these bills place in government.
My last thing, what are you suppose to do if you have guns so old they don't have serial numbers on them?

Please don't think I'm belittling the seriousness of these proposed bills. I'm with Vince 100%. BS laws like this and CA's new ammo registration law will be the death of freedom if we allow it to happen.

Some of the things this administration is trying to slip though the cracks is nothing but pure B.S.! You should see the clip from CNN from Lou Dobbs.

"Obama wasn't lying when he said illegal’s would not be able to get medical coverage under his ObamaCare plan. His simple fix is to make them all legals!"

People in general dont seem to understand what is going on around them and take what they hear on the T.V. and the net at face value or the old statement...what can I do about it and shrug it off.

Had a guy at work complaining about Obama and I told him it was partly his fault he got in office. He asked why and I said..."you did not vote so why are you complaining! IF you want to do something about it...vote next time."

Every vote counts and I think everyone who wants this administration out of office needs to vote and quit thinking that someone else will take care of it.

Thats my opinion and iam sticking to it !

SB-2099 is a something that was tried back when Clinton was in office, someone has recycled it as an alert, it is false. Blair-Holt is for real and they are tryin' to fly it under the radar. I don't believe anyone has sponsered it, so it could die in committee. Go to NRA website, they have all the alerts you need to know about.
