I dropped by this thread this afternoon and cought your question. The answer is Yes
If you enjoy wing shooting there are two premier places in the world, South America and South Africa. I have had the good fortune to shoot both places.
In South America, the outfitters have "magazines" for ammo storage and buy shells in million round truck loads. It is not unusual for a shooter on a hot rock quest to push 2-3,000 rounds in a single day, or shoot to you drop. If you have 7-8 shooters in a hot spot, they can easily run 20,000 rounds in 5 to 7 days and much more if they are on a quest to break records. Most wing shooters would be very happy to get "stuck" in Argentina.
Many of the outfitter have clubs, like the 1,000, 1200, 1500, 1700 etc club which is the number of birds shot in a single day
Remember here, the birds are vermin and crop distroyers, so the shooters are paying a fee to help the grain farmers rid their fields of critters that take 25% of their crops per year and multiply like rats. The farmers get a heafty cut of the fee which helps offset their losses.
