Obama has political savy. His comment about the AWB was that it was a good idea, but, couldn't happen at this time. The Obama, Holder, Clinton show regarding Mexico gave these leftists an opportunity to misrepresent issues without outright lies and they will continue to quote their own lies in the future, enough that some will believe them.

Napolitano's statements are in lockstep specific to Right Wing Extremists and is, also, a part of an orchestrated effort to build a case against widespread firearms ownership as well as to justify further development, expansion and use of AmeriCorps.

Ammo is the Achille's Heel and good leftists know it. Ammo is not specifically covered by the 2nd Ammendment. Nor are components. Increases in excise taxation, additional tax measures and more government control over ammo production, methology of tracking and distribution may prove to be a more effective dodge to accomplish the disarming of our citizens.

AWB? A small skirmish won, a battle yet to be waged and war yet to be fought.

Ammo would most certainly be covered by the Second Amendment. That's like saying we have a free press but aren't allowed to buy paper (Remember the media was once ALL paper). Of course we all know that the “antis” don’t care about things like the truth.

Excellent point,Mike!! Keep and bear arms is to own weapons including powder, primers, ammunition, and whatever makes them up.Taxes can be an infringement that is not allowed beyond normal sales tax.

I do agree we need need more young blood I have seen too many people in my generation know nothing about firearms exept a bullet comes out of it. most don't even know how that works. it's time for education to make young gunnies.
