saw in the news today that peta is trying to get black bears and other animals that come to schools with a circus group to be banned . the animals are taken out of the wild and held captive they say. ever heard of anything silly as that.why sure you have ,anything PETA comes out with is silly

Actually, I agree with peta on this one.
I never have had any use for the circus or small, closed in zoos.
Having worked with bears and wolfs in the wild, and then, seeing some in kennels or cages has shown me that you can take the animal out of the wild, but not the wild out of the animal. It just isn't right, and I feel for the caged in critters.
It would be like putting me in the city.
I would rather be dead than that happening to me.

I agree ElyBoy, I don't have much use for PETA or pay attention to their reteric, but I don't agree with preditory (spell?) animals in cages or in a zoo. Have you ever seen a Tiger in a cage. Pacing back and forth until the concrete is worn out with absolutly no life left in those eyes. Not right! You standard cloven hoof animal Deer, Elk or what not. They seem Ok in some parks where they can roam and come to you if they want or not. Animals with a natural home range measured the the tens or hundreds of sq miles should not be in a cage.
