Here's the load I have been using for years with WW760 in my 30-06.

Hornady 180gr SP #3070 with 55.0 gr WW760 powder. Vel in mine is 2750fps. This load is below max in the older Hornady Fourth Edition Reloading Manual but slightly above max in Hornady's new Seventh Edition. New edition lists Min 43.0 to 54.4 Max. It has always been very accurate in my rifle and has taken several Elk and Muleys.

Remember the above load is safe in my 30-06 but may not be in yours.

I used to use WW760 in my 3006 too but I switched to Hodgdone powders a few years ago and never looked back.
I just never new when Winhester was going to drop the powder and introduce something else. That happened to me too many times in the past.
