What license? Is that the tax that the government charges me to hunt game animals that I've fed all year on my own land..... that license.

Utahs general season archery just ended... I got a few shots and missed everyone. It was spot / intercept type hunting with zero time to use a rangefinder. I shot over a couple times, under a couple times... not sure how other than misjudging distance by 10 yards.
There is an extended "archery only" hunt area near my home that runs through mid dec and is either sex. I'll be trying that area I guess if I want a deer. Its on a steep mountain with no vehicle access so its a pain to get into.

I have a Hoyt compound bow that I bought years ago and used a few times. It is a very nice bow and I really like it. The problem is getting time to get out. I will just have to make time to use it. All the best...

Went out this am, seen a 9 point following some doe's about 70 yards away. Grunted some, but he had other things on his mind and paid me no mind at all.
Seen nothing at all this evening.

45 yards is to far for me Vince. But some fella's may take a shot that far & farther. I know my limits and wont cross them. Its not worth it.
