I think it's at UC Berserkly, urhh I mean Berkley that you can take Klingon as a forgein language.

I like Atlantis but argree that the last few seasons of SG1 is a little out there, still like the movie better.

Looks like they no longer have it. At one of the UC's there used to be classes in both Star Trek and Star Wars. But then again I did have a class that was part of the music department that was the history of Rock and Roll and the home was to listen to music.

Music history is ok, but Klingon for a foreign language????? Even my silly side is dubious of that one!!!

Hey now, some Trekkie's are really into it. And you know the writers did use a more or less standard grammar system and used words for specific meanings, so its more of a language then gibberish. Laughing

Klingon is actually a ISO (International Standards Organization) certified language with the 3 letter code of "tlh". And you can buy Shakespears "Much Ado about nothing" and "Hamlet" in Klingon. So I guess there are reading books they could use for a language course. Shocked

I'm not, couldn't remember more then a couple of phrases when I used to watch alot of Star Trek.

There are some fans who have went so far to name their "Death metal" band after the Klingon name for "Heaven" Stovokor, and only dress up and sing in Klingon when they preform. They are from Portland Oregon actually.

Yupper, just saw a pic the other day and was flabbergated!!! I enjoy sci fi
more that alot of people,but there are limits!!!!!! I have also seen of a case in southwestern USA where a follow had surgery to look more like a Jaguar!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked
