I agree with you. Ilived 50 miles north of Detroit for 19 years and was there 3 times. Twice to watch the Tigers play and once to get my visa papers for Canada. Couldn't stand to even visit down there.

But the whole state of Michigan is no great shakes - not with the legislature trying to run off what few businesses are left in the state.

Ive lived in Michigan Most all my life. Im watching the politicians suck the life out of this state every year.
But Everything I have is here. I could not move with out going broke doing it.
Yea, yea, Vote the Jackasses out you say.......Well, thats not going to happen. The "Golden Rule" makes this true. Look at the last election..The witch has no supporters in this area and lots of others in this State.(No one I know voted for her) Yet..... she still sits in the Governers Mansion.
Yep fellas......Those with the gold make the rules... We are all screwed unless we send a positive (MASS) message to the politicians (in the whole country) that THEY work for US. Not the other way around.
Michigan is not the only State with problems though.

It's worse. They are run by political LIBERALS who firmly belive that by sucking the life out of businesses they can build a sound economy in which no one has to work for a living, everyone will have sufficent welfare to live comfortably.

Ohio is in about the same shape as Michigan. It doesn't matter who's in the Gov's Mansion in Columbus, it's always just more of the same... We have yet ANOTHER scandal brewing down there...

And the whole time they're driving manufacturing jobs from the state, and laughing about it, while they chase AA's around the office tryin to get laid.
