Has anyone tried the new Nosler E tip bullet yet? What were your results on target and game?

I must admit this is the first I have heard of them. How about a little info? What have you seen, heard, read about them?

They have E tip info on their web site.
Nosler brought it out to compete with the Barnes bullets.

These are only in 30 caliber. Bummer. I can't be much help, but will watch intently.

180 gr. are out now. 150 gr. are coming soon, both for 30 cal.
Look to be a little less expensive than say TSX from barnes. I am sure they are letting them out slowly to make sure they don't have to make any adjustments.

The Etip Nosler is a homogenous bullet with a polymer tip. It looks like the new TTSX Barnes, except the Barnes has the pressure relief grooves.
Hornady will intorduce their homogenous bullet sometime before year's end. It has become industry evident that Barnes has achieve a lofty niche in hunting circles and the other guys want in.

I figure the silly lead bullet ban in parts of CA has given "antis" another tool to use to stop guns/hunting. Obviously this is a way to head them off. Hmmm, do you have "freedom of the press" if the govt takes away all the paper?
