What is a good tool for chamfering the outside of the neck on a 270wsm case? I have an inexpensive Lee that I use for all my other cases, but this "short and fat" case won't allow the tool to slip over the case and downn onto the rim to do the trimming.

The RCBS Deburring tool handles 270 WSM with no problems. I use it on 416 Rigby and 458 cases, too. This will debur inside and outside and is of good enough quality that you will hand it down to future generations. They also offer one designed for 17 caliber which I find useful on 204 Ruger cases as well. In fact, the 17 will handle everything up to 458 as well. If there is a 17 or 20 cal in your future, it will be the better choice.
FYI (although you probably know this): the preferred method is simply to take the burrs off and not to overbevel the mouth. When you inspect the deburred case, there should be an obvious flat part on the mouth in between the inside and outside of the mouth.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I do know. I actually went back to doing this process by hand because I was getting a little carried away with the mechanical setup I had and over doing it. Thanks again. Ohh...do you know about what it costs?

I use the RCBS tool whilst the case is still in the Lee case holder from trimming & the holder is still in the cordless drill.
Two quick spins & it's done.
