The local gun shop just got in a load of shot and it sells for $32.00 per 25 lb. bag. Could be worse. Take care...

Joe,
We are seeing about the same prices here. I hope the prices of lead, brass and copper go down so we get a break. All the best...

Gil, I can't see that happening in a hurry, if at all, mate. We are experiencing a similar trend here in Australia. I have a friend who owns a scrap metal business and he said to me that a big part of the reason for the prices hikes is the Chinese buying up as much of these metals as they can lay their hands on.

Call me cynical, but I don't believe that big business will be happy to reduce prices too much at any time, even if their costs go down.....it just means more profit for them.

Cheers, Vince

Vince,
I suspect that you are correct. All the best...

Now the gun shops I called around here are backordered on shot with no idea of the delivery date or costs. Powder supplies are going down and finding the primers you want is a crap shoot. Buy what you can, when you can. Take care...

I bought some IMR powders yesterday. The price was still $19.99 a pound, but they were getting mighty low. All the best...

The local gun shop got in some Lawrence brand lead shot and it is $38.50 for a 25 pound bag. Only available in 7 1/2, 8, 8 1/2 and 9 shot sizes. That is the first time I ever saw 8 1/2 shot. Take care...

Just bought 2,000 primers at $22.50 a thousand...Last time I purchased primers they were $13 and change (been a few years sense I needed to restock)...Powder seems to not have changed that much. Still under $20.00 a pound.
