I gave my sister a really hard time about the situation at first, decided I better cool it when she threw a chair at me. It took quite a while for my parents to warm up to the idea also, her husband is almost 10 years older than our dad. Not from Ark or Tenn, he is from West Virginia which is also famous for weird relationships.

Well being an ex city girl who drove in my shiny cars, wore makeup, fashionable dresses with high heels, even carried a purse for a time, opted for a more meaningful life here in the far northwest mountains.

I too I have always wanted a ruggedly handsome, strong minded, iron willed, danger invoking, high intellect, insatiable humor, hard loving man in my life.
God saw it fit to grant me such a man.

mountain living is so much more fullfilling and meaningful with
small pleasures like stopping to let the turkey hen walk across the road. (dont understand why anyone needs camo with these critters)(had 5 this morning in the yard when I was feeding the chooks and I could have taken one with my blow gun if I had it on me.)(chooks are chickens for you folks that dont know) winking at my ozzies nuts.

and my opinion an older seasoned man is much, much nicer to have in one's life than a younger one.

may all the city folk remain in the cities

Well myself I believe if 2 people are happy and the younger one isn't getting used in the relationship as a "toy" or something I see nothing wrong with it. And I feel people should go with another if they really do love them and not worry about something like age (unless then one is under age ofcourse) Smile

Well "cousin-in-law" anyway...

It's really tough having two mother-in-laws though. The first one refuses to divorce me. She was very unhappy about possibly loosing me. So was very happy when I married her sisters daughter. Remember they are sisters

My mom dad were actually my foster brother and foster sister-in-law when we first met. They adopted me about a year later or so.

And here is the mind blower for you, but think about this one first.

Could I marry my brother's and sister's sister and have a family without fear of genetic problems?

Yes my brothers and sister have a half sister(same dad) and I am a half brother(same bio mom) to them and no relation to the other half sister.

OK! Now I get it, it finally sank in. I wonder what the case worker would say. AHHH! Who cares! But it does make for a very interesting topic none the less. Oh and you are a slight drive away from me however should I ever find myself going down to mom's relatives west and south of you in OK. I just might have to come and find out just how mean that ol' barn cat you have is. HA HA HA HA!!!! But don't hold your breath we do not exactly talk much. More like they talk and won't shut up!
