you cannot answer the "will i or wont i" question until you are in that certain situation. there have been a few times where i was glad to have it on hand but other times glad i didnt, it is all in how YOU read the situation, the guy could be wanting your blood and you better put him down without thinking, he may be just an idiot trying to make a buck at your expense, two things come to mind when this comes up. Kenny Rodgers, know when to hold em know when to fold em.. and the scene from Men in Black, why did ya shoot poor little tiffiny??

"Boobs" are a defence weapon? Just how will you conceal them? How effective will they be against a perp? Will a permit be required for concealed carry? What states will allow you to carry them concealed? What qualification will you have to complete to carry them concealed? And what will the waiting period be? What type of background check will take place? Will they have to be registered to carry concealed?
All of these things must be taken into concideration before one opts to carry "boobs" for CCW.
Just practicing to be a moderator Dallan and trying to clean this string up before it gets "out of hand"...

Just got the March issue of Guns & AMMO. They have an article on Concealed Carry Basics. They should have read this forum before they published the article...then they could have done a better job with theirs.
Keep it coming...

Firestar M-43. Strong side paddle. Before I have to field any questions for my (possibly temporary) gun choice. I have had this 9mm for 15 years with only one failure to feed and that was remedied with a little tweeking of the magazine feed lips about two years ago.
I have used my Colt SAA (.357 Mag) three times to bring peace to a situation. Once in 1966 in Hawaii to stop an attempted rape in progress. Once at home in Seattle in 1971 and once I tried to kill someone and emptied that Colt at a person messing with my wife in camp 1973. Luck would have it I missed him (100 yards running over heavy rock along a river)
Now I have a CCW and nothing will happen again. I'm good with that.

It has long been argued that the .357 is the best personal defence weapon.
You can get them in an air-weight 5 shot that can be carried in the pants pocket even while wearing shorts. Taurus and Rossi are both an economical choice in a snub-nose but Rossi doesn't have an air-weight available, Taurus does have air-weights and total titaniums. You can get them in a 6 shot steel frame and with the cross bar safety system on all of them you can carry them fully loaded.
