Gidday TX country boy. Nothing wrong with being a lurker mate....good way to learn.
Like George, I too am unemployed, although not by choice. These days I refer to myself as being semi retired. Raised four daughters and enjoy the company of our grandkids when we can.
I find it hard to get online sometimes too with a 17year old who is happy to spend hours at a time on the internet, but I manage.
Cowboys eh...over here they are a pretty good Rugby League football team in Far North Queensland, Australia.
Cheers, Vince

I work on computers all day long. I usually try to visit the site couple times an hour, even if just briefly to approve photos people upload.
I cant imagine ever being able to retire though... financially I dont know if I can keep up with inflation and other new expenses (just built 2 new schools next to me and started on 2 more... I get increased taxes for each one). Property prices are skyrocketing so maybe someday I'll sell of the place and go buy a cheap piece next to bushy.

Now that will be interesting...You ride horses and shoot?...Hey!! that will work....No kids though...5 of my own were enough...
That's the reason I moved from the West Coast out here. Couldn't afford to go home (Oregon)...

Between college classes (lots of time at college this term heck just had a 10 hour day at the college) and sleeping I squeeze in time into things I like to do, and spending time on this forum is fun. Lots of interesting folks here, sort of like a small community.
I plan on "Retiring smart" that is never retiring.
Get myself a small lot of land in a place prices wont sky rocket in my life time, get a machine shop set up on my land and work to get money to play with (like buying anything the pension doesnt allow me to get, money for gifts for the grandkids and money for "toys") while enjoying working in my shop.
I'm young and foolish but I dont see a reason to retire if I'm going to be working for myself at my own leasure.
