Folks,
Last week was Primary Election Day in the Commonwealth and 60 incumbent legislators (out of 253 members of the General Assembly) were either ousted or retired and may be looking for work. My state senator and state representative were in office from 1982 and both took a hit. The 60 new legislators certainly recognize the concept of "power to the people". The incumbents were booted out for various reasons like the pay increase last year and the role and actions of the Pennsylvania Game Commission. I am confident that PGC will be held more accountable for their deer management and mismanagement policies. We do not need term limits for legislators, we merely need an informed electorate. All the best...

Gil,
I live in Monroe county and I honestly don't see any changes coming. A politician is a politician and that never changes. They promise the world to us and then take it for themselves. I hope you are right, but I just expect to see more of the same. Sad
