You are about to receive a package and they come to drop it off but your not home so you need to wait till the next day to pick it up from the post office ?? Sad

It could be worse. When I owned a hardware store Smith & Wesson guns became very scarce. I was looking through one of my supplier's catalogs and found a list of S & W revolvers in the back. Salesman informs me they are in stock and that they have had them for years. So I order 18 guns. This was on Monday, Friday closing time rolls around on a three day holiday weekend and no guns, so we close up. Tuesday, I drive up and there piled up against the front door, right next to the sidewalk, on a 4 lane, in town, are 22 individual brown paper wrapped packages (4 wood cases & 18 guns) with a UPS sign on delivery ticket stuck under the top box. The guns were delivered after we closed on Friday and sat there, uncovered, in the wide open, with a light above the door, for three nights and three days. A pistol box in a brown wrapper is pretty obvious. wtf

Several times over the years I have come home and had a box with a gun in it leaning against the front door. UPS is real bad about that stuff around here, even with a signed receipt request, they still leave packages. I would rather have to go get the item than have it piled on the front porch unsecured. Just the other side of the coin.... Smile

I hear they do that here too in more rural settings, but I live in the city ( Sad

) and in a Apartment building so they cant just leave it infront of the door. Smile

When I go pick it up today I'll post what it ended up being I ordered a couple of things that should be ariving in the fallowing days so I'm not sure what this package is Smile

Funny I used to love long weekends like this one when I had 3 days off, now in college I have 4 day weekends this term (Friday-Saturday-Sunday-Monday) and they dont mean as much anymore. Laughing

Columbus day, neat, we dont have that here. Smile

Well well, turns out my bayonet came in, I figured since the prices seem to keep going up and up I might as well order it before it gets out of hand. Smile

Just got an order today delivered to my front door. The guy rang the door bell, but, by the time I got to the door, he was gone but left a box at the front door. I can't get use to that Confused

I live in a rural area and don't mind at all if UPS leaves the package at my door. If the guy has the guts to get past my dog, I say God Bless him and thanks for the delivery.

Book I ordered still hasnt come from a store in Amazon. Should have been here 2 days ago, they shipped it 2 days late and today is the 14th day from "4 to 14 Day shipping to Canada" with it being late. Mad

I emailed the seller if they give me a stupid excuse I'm calling the credit card I used and Amazon and having them deal with the seller and getting my money back. Evil or Very Mad
