It's thundering and lightning outside with a hmidex of 45 C that's about 115F so I sat down to do some reload searching and found that there was a forum here. I think I might even recognize a name or two!
Here's a little about me and what I do.
I hunt varmints such as coyote and chucks, turkey and deer. Used to hunt moose before it got near impossible to get a tag. I work as a millwright and machinist in a food processing plant and I have a very well equiped wood shop at home where I make calls. I make turkey calls called TomTalkers hence the nick and also open reed predator calls and once in a while a grunt call. I have a Terco duplicator and do the ocasional stock but don't try to get too busy at it and wear the dang machine out before I retire way down the road and have tome to use it.
I was born in '53 so I'm old and nasty and don't spell to good Very Happy
I'll take a look through all the forums especialy the varmint and reloading ones. I aint fired factory amo in close to thirty years. Nice meeting you all/tt

Welcome to HuntingNut TT,
Always nice to have a call maker on the forum who knows how to use them too. Be sure to post some pictures of your calls and give up some of your tricks.

Welcome TomTalker, looks like you'll fit in nicely here, most everyone here hunts & you'll get answers to all your questions, and it looks like you'll be able to help us as well. But, you are not as old & nasty as some of us (I was born in '43), just the same, glad to have you on board Wave Wave Salute
Keep it coming...

Welcome TomTalker. Sit a while, kick back with a beer or three and enjoy the greatest hunting forum on the net.....you do enjoy a beer don't you?

Old and nasty.....mate, you are about 12 months younger than me and I'm a young'un compared to some of these crusty old buggers. Laughing

I look forward to reading your posts.

Cheers, Vince

Hey Tom, welcome. Pull up a stump and sit awhile. We will keep you and Dimitri in mind come January. But then again, you will have plenty of reloading and project time.
