Well, it would look impressive in the back of the Jeep...
It's six AR 10's in one gun!
I don't personally see the need for it, but then I don't have to worry about stampeding buffalo herds. Rabbits, but not buffalo.

I think the way pete4d shoots, the cost of ammo would quickly be North of the cost of the gun.

When you engage a sounder of hogs. The largest group we have encountered on the ranch we hunt had 48.

It's semi-auto. Ya have to push the buttons for each shot. Not any faster then my AR 10.

I like large cap magazines for Prairie Dog hunting. You stay behind the trigger all dialed in on a mound for longer periods of time without having to re-adjust the rifle after reloading. Its common to fire 20, 30 or even 40 rounds at a single large mound with alot of rodents living in it.
Once that sun start peeking up the clock is ticking so shoot fast. Being able to get the rifle setup on the bags properly and pop-off more rounds between reloading is a time saver.

I can recall one night of spot lighting shooting somewhere between 470-480 rabbits 95% were headshots with a 500 round brick of winchester power point.... rifles were a bruno bolt and a norico copy of the same...both had 5 shot magazines. oh and they were picked up skinned/gutted and taken in for dog tucker... good $$$$ it was.
used a 10/22 one night with a 50 round banana magazine....yeah nah it didnt shoot any better and the shot count per kill went up.

Elvis, as sounder of hogs doesn't present a still target when the shooting starts. Your 10/22 doesn't sound like it is as accurate as mine. 480 rabbits - beats counting sheep. I may try that next time a wake at 2am like I did this morning.

Oh, I’d love to be sitting in a hide with a field of rabbits like that...boy, would I have a ball. We would position two hides about 10 metres apart, my mate in one and me in the other and shoot for beers. |
I'll drink to that,,,,, After a good days shoot a beer would be good or maybe a couple beers
I teach my grandsons ,,, We place 10 to 15 beer or soda cans from 20-50yards ,,, shot one when it hits the ground shoot it again as quick as you can get back on target .... we have more fun with this than just shooting paper.

Yep, a beer or three around the “bush tv” (fire) at night once all the shooting is done, is most enjoyable.
I like that idea...be a good training idea for my grandsons. I also like to put a coke can out at at least 200 metres and shoot that with the 223 or 243...that’s real good practice for trigger control.
