I rarely sell a firearm. The folks at the local gun shop say my stuff goes one way and is not sold. Yesterday, a very good friend stopped by and has longed for a Krag rifle for a long time. I have a number of sporterized (by others) Krag rifles and most needed to be rebarreled. There was one sporterized Krag with an original cut down barrel. In sold it to my friend for what I paid for it. He was thrilled and has not stopped telling me about how thrilled he was with the transaction. St my age it is time to think about what lies ahead. All the best...

I'm like you Gil, I don't sell firearms. But what you did for a friend is to be commended.

I love to sell guns. Sometimes I sell 5 or 6 a day.

Due to how our restrictive gun laws work, I'm going to have to sell a couple of rifles left to me by a friend so that I can replace them with two more in the same calibre but more suited to my needs.
One has a right hand, thumbhole stock & I'm a lefty & the other weighs in at over 15lbs, so hardly the thing to take deer stalking.
I'll do so with regret but I'm keeping his old, beat-up SxS shotgun purely for sentimental reasons.
