Promised my brother a year ago that when he went into hospital to have his leg amputated I'd be there for him. He had a motorcycle accident back in 1983 resulting in 39 operations, 18 skin grafts and two bone grafts in his right leg. Over the years he's had ongoing problems resulting in the bone deteriorating to the point it was no longer viable.

An 800km drive later...only took about 9 hours in my 'new' XC60 Diesel Volvo ...and here I am doing daily drives to the hospital taking my 95 year old Mum visiting him.

This also gives me the opportunity to do a little fishing in a great spot renowned for good fishing...Nelson Bay, about 130 km north of Sydney in New South Wales. Just wish I could do a little shooting while down here but I had no way of securing firearms at my brothers place. Oh well, not to worry, I have a 300 target Sporting Clays shoot at the end of May in the bush to look forward to when I get home.

Vince a length of chain and a padlock will sort that issue out,it is only temporary so the rules are different,well at least they are here.
chained to bed base out of sight should tick the boxes.

Knowing the way the police are down here, I don't think they would accept that mate. Be nice if they would though.

No mate, not in Sydney. I'm at Tanilba Bay between Newcastle and Nelson Bay. I'd make the trip down to Sydney except that I'm busy as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I only manage to get a couple of hours free at a time.
