A Sad Loss by one of our mates

It's pretty tough. Still can't talk much about it without having trouble getting the words out. Took my son home this morning so this'll be the first night alone. Had to stop and tell a couple of her old friends today about it ..... I have about three of her girlfriends calling me every day - I think they are taking turns just to check up. Another week or so and the tears might start to slow up. I guess coping as best as I can. I have a trip planned in a month or so. Going to deliver a horse we sold and carry on from there to go see Mom and the rest of the family as I will be half way there anyway. Think that'll take a week and a half then I have to go the other direction to see her family so a couple of road trips coming up. I still feel lost. Thanks for asking

Hang in there mate, it gets better. At least you have plenty of support, both friends and family.

Grey_Wolf my sincerest consolations during this time of sorrow. I cannot imagine any words that I can write that would make this any easier for you, but may God bless and sustain you and may he welcome your wife into his loving arms. My heart goes out to you, I know how devastated I would be.

I don't know if you are religious or not but I am going to say this anyway.
She is at the right place to help watch over you just like you watched over her. May your love and hers keep you on your feet and living life to the fullest. It is what they both expect of you. The Good Lord has her with Him and is walking beside you. That means she is there with you through this ordeal too. Make her proud.
