I see this as possibly (most likely) the last chance the USA has to bust the strangle hold the GOP and the Demo-rats have over the the people. Do I think Trump will make a great President, no, but I have to send a message that the political scum the party officials keep telling me I need to vote for are just that; scum bought and paid for by the one world government progressives, and big business. Sadly Bushy, there are far too many Lemmings in our country and while we probably won't live long enough to see it's total destruction it will happen.

It seems to me that many Hillary supporters view her as payback against the rich and successful. Forget the fact that they haven't worked for their own success. They want to punish those that have succeeded by taking away their wealth. It won't put a cent in their pockets, but punishing the rich is enough for them. Well I also see Trump as payback. In the case of Trump supporters however it's in your face payback for all of the BS we've had to endure at the hands of the left and the progressive GOP leadership. Every election cycle is billed as the most important, but in this case it may just decide whether we still have a constitution and a nation.

From what I can see, I think Trump is saying what the people what to say and hear...we are sick and tired of the political garbage that is destroying our country.

Do I think Trump will make a good President...not real sure on that one as he's a bit too self-centred and opinionated for my liking, but he's gotta be better than Billary or any of the other candidates...maybe.

The #1 thing I hate about Cruz is he absolutely wants to get rid of all the national forest and blm grounds in America. Sell it all he says, the federal government shouldn't own ground.

Over 66% of my state is "public" land, able to be used by anyone... if Cruz had his wish, all of that would be sold off to private entities. I just cant support that.

I don't think the feds or any branch of our government should be able to sell land that they don't hold the title and receipt to. All the land the government "owns" is held in trust for the people. They don't own it so they can't sell it.

My understanding is Cruz wants the land control to go back to the states !!!

I won't pretend I know a whole lot about the issues but I do know ranchers have been complaining for years about land grabs under the BLM.
From the little bit of Internet searching I've done I can't help but notice the source locations. I'm very particular about where I get my information. A lot of the sources on this issue are from left leaning liberal sites. Please keep this in mind when doing any research. Also keep in mind that Cruz is equally hated by both sides, thus the disinformation comes from both sides.

I have always said exactly the same Paul. The standing Government, the elected politicians of the day, are nothing more than caretakers for any and ALL public property...be it land or business/instrumentality.

Far too many politicians use the public coffers as their own private "bank".

And my state legislators have already come forward saying they want to sell it off. They know flat out the state couldn't even pay for a single large forest fire... how do they expect to run things? Its just not feasible.

Well in these cases, that's not entirely correct. Its truly not a "land grab" but reductions in grazing allotments. There is only so much food for example, if you want wildlife populations to rise, you have to reduce other populations. My big issue with some of those situations (ie: Bundys) is the ranchers in alot of cases arent even paying for the allotments they currently have. Bundys owe over $1,000,000 in grazing fees. IMO they need to pay it.

I grew up with family friends who owned large herds of sheep and had the allotments to run them on the Forest ground. I know a bit about all of this... the media has done a terrible job explaining it to the general public.

Bottom line, I am against transfer of PUBLIC lands held by the Fed government to my state Goverment... they will sell it off, turn it to private lands that only the rich can use, or restrict it to the point its unusable by the public (There is a major fight going on right now over this very thing exactly where I deer hunt where a ski resort is trying to take over an area and force a expansion of their resort). It is happening as we speak.
