Ah Mr Dallan...But that is a memorial for the War Dead to be honored on Memorial Day. Veteran's day is honoring the living veterans. Veteran's day is a happy day. It has to be...Just look at Vince. Well then again, maybe we shouldn't look at Vince. But then again........................

Actually I love that picture for the guards standing post, in any type of foul weather. Brings a tear to my eye to think of that type of dedication and honor. There hasn't been a single second of any day since 1937 that that post hasn't been manned.

And I whole heartedly agree with you on that one.

Thank you all for the good thoughts on Veterans Day, but don't forget the family of those vets. My wife and son stuck with me through 28 years of all the service had to throw at us. We survive together. Plus the POWs still out there, we can't stop looking. Remember the ones that gave it all and their families. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
