I've removed the link mate...my apologies.

This was sent to me via Facebook and when I looked at it, it didn't have anything about being SPAM or being OWNED...which is why I posted it here.

got "the phone call" again last night, you know the guy from microsoft about a problem with your computer........ yip picked it straight away and kept him stringing along, Bec's and Nathan were listening in while I kept guy talking, I asked"is this about windows??"
"yes windows" he replied
"do you have windows where you are?" I asked
"yes" he replied
"can you open it?"I then asked
"yes of course I can"he replied
"then open the f&$king thing and jump out" I replied before hanging up to join family in laughter

That's funny! I strung one of their "techs" (and manager!) along for something like 15-30 minutes. I figure the longer they are on the call with me the more money they waste...

I do software development for a living so know a thing or two about computers, but it was a lot of fun to play dumb. The first guy got so aggravated he put on his supervisor (who spoke better English). I strung him along too!

I don't think they've called back since. Very Happy

I did the same thing on a couple of occasions when I've had the Indian criminal/spammers call claiming to be calling from the Microsoft Techs...string them along almost to the point of giving them remote access (I'm not that dummmbbb Laughing

). I then give them a mouth full of profanity advising them that I consider them somewhat less than human and possibly still have the stump of a tail. Shocked

They get most indignant when you do that. Very Happy

On another occasion I did the same...string them along then when they ask if I have the internet open, I say yes...should I close my work website? She said yes and asked what my work website was, to which I replied "The Queensland Police Website"....CLICK!!...she hung up. Scratch

Oooh. Nice one!

I have a coworker who acts all nice and friendly to them. He keeps asking why they just can't come to his house. He offers to grill them a nice juicy steak and give them a nice cold beer!

They get highly offended and tell him.

"You are a vrude man! A bery, bery vrude man!"

And then hang-up.

I got called a man whose mother was unwed and the offspring of a female dog when I stopped the firs guy and asked to speak to the manager. I then told the manager that it was funny that my computer alerted them to a problem with my Windows operating system because my computer runs on Linux. He kept repeating the names over and over. When he was done he hung up without so much as a "have a nice day" or anything.

I love doing that to them.
