its winter time ..cold..frosty...starting to cost a bit to feed them. at a guess 90 and 110lb would have been dressed weight of them.

Vince, if that is the case, butcher one now and let the other one grow bigger so you have even more to eat later.

SJ, one has to make the calculation. With some fish they can get a 1:1 ratio (feed-conversion), meaning 1 kg feed gives 1 kg fish. Same thing with chicken: why don't they continue till they get 4 kg? And even not considering the taste, how much feed will bring that pig till 60 kg and how much more till 100-120 kg?

And as always: the older a man gets, the younger he likes... Smile

(or maybe he becomes only less patient?)
