Good parts and fast healing!

as for the nurses... they can handle themselves so do as you wish!

Just be sure you won't need more surgery after playing with the nurses.

Thanks everyone. The op is done and dusted...the Dr is reasonably happy with the outcome, but of course only time will tell.
The anaesthetic was pretty solid, took me an hour or so to wake up fully, and 10 hrs later I can still feel the fuzzy edge...that and a mix or morphing and codeine pain killers, I ain't feeling much. Not allowed to have a beer or a scotch for a couple days either.

Time to relax, do the few exercises the physiotherapist gave me, and let things settle down and heal, then things should be good. I certainly hope so because the next step is a knee replacement.

Oh yeah...all the Nurses survived as well, even with the funny gown they gave me. But then again, as SWMBO says; "I've never seen a dead bird fall out of it's nest". wtf

Dead bird huh? Well maybe it just needs some encouragement, or a knee that won't wobble. Glad you're home and directing traffic again, let me know when I should take the stump out from wraps, it needs a cleaning and we wanna keep things sterile for a while. You can put your surgery hash mark on one side, don't want to add too many of those but it's nice to see progress from historic events.

Well, it's been three days now and the swelling is subsiding, the constant pain is pretty much gone, just have to be careful how I move it, and exercises are easing the tightness. I'm getting there. Give it another few days and I reckon things will be great.

Two days ago I would never have recommended this op, but now it is looking good.

If you think your knee op was painful don't go get a haemmaroid op, not only is it a pain in the arse but by god, I wouldn't inflict it on my enemys. Worst op in the world, try passing barbed wire!!!! Shocked
