Impressive engineering wet dream that includes much of forging, smithing and some 2700 feet of pipes! Shocked

No hard hat, safety steel toe boots, face shields or gloves..

Almost scary in that foundry, not a glove to be seen, the only protection those guys had was a cloth hat to keep the sweat from getting in their eyes. Hope they were well paid, they certainly earned every penny of what they got. Amazing to see how they did things on such mass of steel.

The good old days where only craftsmen survived - the rest of them died.

It would be a real contrast to see how things were done just 50 years later.
