All I can say is wow.

Aloy, if euthanasia is legal in Belgium I would also watch what I said :-)

Great alternative picture, DS! And I missed seeing the small one again. It just blends in.

Please send congrats and a atta girl onto your wife DS !!!

I'm some what surprised at the scope movement that was going on.....any thoughts about that ???
To my understanding the TCU's don't generate alot of recoil.

Thank You!

Well, about the only thing I can figure, is that with the gun being so light, and shooting that heavy of a bullet, the recoil, though mild, has a very sharp rap to it. Even besides that, I put 3, 4 or 5 rings on most all of my guns, unless I am using the Burris Signature ZEE rings that use the nylon inserts. Even my .22's have multiple rings on them. It is just something I have always done and will continue to do....

I picked up over 110 lbs. of sausage from our game processor yesterday. He showed me the hide they skinned off that 500 lb. hog, and amazingly, those two bullets passed completely through, with exit holes as big as a quarter...

Here are a couple of pictures of the skull we got back...

This hog was very healthy and still growing! There is no telling just how big he would have gotten....

That is a great mount mate...looks awesome. The tusks on that bugger look nasty...would hate to have him hit me with them...when he was alive.

Seems like you guys will be well set for sausage for quite some time. Pork sausages...mmmmmm. Now, should we let Stovey know? Laughing

if sausage was all the pork you got back...I would say you got "taxed" quite heavily. if he was 500lb live....a 1/5th meat doesnt quite sound right.

I kinda thought that too. That's one reason I process my own deer. I want "my" deer and not someone else's and I want all the meat from "my" deer. This hog was just too big for me to handle by myself, and I didn't have the time or place to take care of it properly. Oh well....
