Bushmaster,
You probrobly could buy a used monitor for 20$ or so from a small computer shop alot of them here have monitors to sell that are used. Just need to make sure it runs good so ask if they got a replacement system if it doesnt work for a month or something just in case.

I'm back.
Well sorted out my mouse problem......its had the Pork Sword. Rang HP and they are sending me out a new one. Have to use my old one at the moment.
Damn computers...love em. I have 3 sitting around me at the moment. My original one is a 386SX25....80MB HDD, 2MB RAM, 5.25 and 3.5 floppy drives....loaded with WIN 3.1. Still have the monitor, keyboard, mouse and all the software for it. Might sell it to an antique shop. My second one is the one I just replaced. Its a Celeron 333A, 4.3GB HDD, 192MB RAM, CD Burner and CD ROM, 3.5 floppy drive....loaded with ME now, but have WIN 95 and ME Upgrade for it as well as the full version of ME. Still have everything for it...monitor, keyboard, mouse and all software. Might flog that one on eBay. My new puter is a Intel 3.06GHz, 533 FSB, 512MB RAM, 160GB HDD (and I have another new 40GB HDD to fit), Lightscribe DVD Dual Layer SuperMulti Drive/CD-Writer. Going to fit a DVD ROM as well. Bought a 19" BenQ flatscreen LCD monitor to go with it. This one should last me for a couple of years, I hope.
10Ring, don't worry about being stirred about your "rigid" part.....could be a spot of jealousy coming out. At least you ain't scratchin' anymore....that has to be a benefit.
Cheers, Vince
