Incoming....

I'll be in NM from Thursday for a couple of weeks, including four days up at the NRA Whittington Centre from May 16th - 19th.
Mostly be down in Albuquerque just chilling out & recharging my brain ready for the summer season.
There's a .270 Ruger Hawkeye waiting to have some more load development done too, ready for November & deer season in OK. Got it down to sub MOA back in November 2012 with 130gr Sierras & I'm convinced it'll do even better with 150's.
Need a LOT of pistol time too, to make up for the break & my mate should have a .357 GP 100 sorted for wheel gun practice by the time I land.

Four days to go...... Very Happy

Off to the NRA Whittington Centre at Raton tomorrow. Staying three days as there are plenty of ranges to shoot at, all the way out to 1,200yds.
For some strange reason, my mate wants to leave here at 04:00 Shocked

The elk steaks nearly did for my mate - he had a piece lodge in hie duodenum & had to go to hospital in Trinidad Friday morning to have a camera down his throat & the offending morsel pushed on its way.
Then we had to drive up, collect his Land Rover & drive him back as he'd been under general anaesthetic - mad fool apparently tried to escape from the recovery room a couple of times.

well that 2½ weeks went by all too quick. By this time tomorrow I'll have flown up to Atlanta & will be waiting to get on the plane back to Blighty.
I just hope TSA doesn't swab the handle on my cabin luggage like the last time, as I've spent the day shooting & cleaning guns & it sets the alarm off. Very Happy

It wouldn't be so bad if it was women who did the whole body pat down...

Roll on November when hopefully I'll be back over for another two weeks or so.
Mebbe get to OK & do a little hunting then.
