Please read this article from Ann Coulter about Sen. Rubio's immigration plan. Interestingly he's a Republican which is hard to believe after reading this;

By "paying taxes," Rubio means "filing a tax return and getting a payment back from the government in the form of the earned income tax credit." Another term for what Rubio calls "paying taxes" is "receiving welfare" -- which newly legalized illegals will start receiving right away under Rubio's plan. The only tax they'll pay is the same tax they pay now: sales tax.

But, incomprehensibly, Rubio swore up and down that the newly legalized illegal immigrants won't get government benefits: "And then they don't qualify for any federal benefits. This is an important point. No federal benefits, no food stamps, no welfare, no Obamacare."
How on Earth does Rubio plan to enforce this "important point"?

What's wrong with sealing the border with a line of military bases and keeping it sealed with a program of intensive patrolling? Doing this will provide useful utilisation of resources returning from the Middle East and be of great benefit to the country.

Oh hang on, they dig tunnels too...no problem, seismic sensors will pick that up...collapse the tunnels immediately when found. Not hard to do and it will be effective training for the Army Engineers.

Once the border is sealed, start collecting the illegals and using a "Deportation Bus Service", ferry them to the Customs/Immigration point on the border and "push" them back across. Being picked up more than once should incur a nasty punishment, then "pushed" back over the border.

I was told that the military is not trained to guard our borders. They are taught to shoot the enemy and count the bodies.

So what's wrong with that? Illegal aliens are a threat to the welfare of the USA. They are enemy combatants and should be shot for trespassing and illegal entry.

Some races in our country are breeding like rabbits, we don't need immigrants!
