Incredible photos, beautiful yet soooo creepy..
There is a video in the bottom of the page too.

When I was a kid living in Arizona we had sand storms like that. What was even worse the sand had to come across a stockyard full of cattle before it reached us and it was a stinky full of cow poo sand storm. I was in a swimming pool and my parents came running out of the house yelling at me to come in, naturally I ignored them....till I saw the wall of sand comming. I ran fast as I could but couldn't beat the sand, got pelted, it stung my legs and I was wet from the pool and so it stuck to me and was full of cow manure....what a mess. I stood in the living room with my arms out crying my eyes out while everyone was closing windows and making sure the sand wasn't going to get in. I got a lecture about listening to your elders...It'll take the paint off a car if you're driving through one and the windshield will be so pitted from it too. I don't know how the animals survived it, probably turn their back to it at first but laying down would be the best I suppose. Breathing? forget it.

Those were some spectacular photos Geland!! Almost looks pretty...

Noticed that one guy sure looked worried. Beer in one hand and a kid in the other. "Terrified" ?? No shirt and a beer belly. Yup... Very Happy

Bushy,
apparently EVERYTHING is scary and we're all terrified ALL the time, if you listen to the shit media we have.
Obviously this bloke is just having a calming ale while looking after his kid......
