well folks we are shifting from our wee place in the country due to landlords change of circumstances .
how ever... this morning while we were having breakfast I looked out the window and spotted a hare in the paddock right outside, oweing to the furniture truck being parked on the lawn I managed to sneak out to the gun cabinet and free my favourite rifle(dont tell the others) she was still half asleep when I slid the bolt in but woke up when she felt those 50grn speer hollows go in the mag snuck around the side of the house to the wood shed and looked back at the house to see both kids ,wife, brother in law and the old dragon...oops I mean mother in law looking out the window. so made sure aim was true. hare steak for breakfast. Deer Sniper sorry she dont look too flash she got awoke in a hurry and hadnt had time to wake up.

That "hare"-looks like one of our western "jack rabbits"!'cept the ears are a bit shorter on your hare!

Yup- looks just like our black tailed Jack's. Techincally they are a hare. And good eatin' too!

Dint ruin any eatin with that fine shot Elvis ! Hope you get another place in the country. Hard to give that up . The same will be true for me soon as well.

I believe they came from england. But we dont hold that against them.
