Okay I have a line on a 1980's era one with the 22lr and 22 wmr cylinders. It is in excellent condition. Is it worth $350? It is a friend so if t is worth more I will offer more. I have always wanted a good 22 revolver for practising so I can improve my grip, stance etc. on the cheap.

A very fine rimfire revolver. As for price, I see them online selling from $425 up to $777 at auction. If found at a local dealer, the price would probably be less. I think an offer of $350 would be fair, but what is paid between friends only the two of you can decide. Whatever you decide, I think you would be very happy with it.

MrIanvez...Welcome to this fine site. Pull up a stump, grab one of Vince's beers and sit a while.
S&W .22 revolver with both cylinders? For $350? And you think there is a decision to make here?
The only problem I see here is..."Where's my wallet?"

Going to see the gun today. We live in different provinces. S&W is selling them new as classics for over $950.

With the extra cylinder, target grips and a speed loader I will give him well above $350. We were navy buddies many years ago and are more like brothers. Money can`t buy that type of relationship but, if you let it, it can sure ruin it.

Point well taken, but if a friendship isn't strong enough to withstand the purchase of a firearm then it wan't that strong in the first place. But then again...I'd cheat my brother in a heartbeat and never loose him. He'd just get even or ahead.
